Does anyone know anything about an updater for THINK C to version 4.0.3 or 4.0.4 or whatever the latest version is? Is the latest version 32-bit clean? Will it run under 7.0b[456]? In 32-bit mode? (Will the debugger?) I'm running 7.0b4 and have been unable to get the updater. Could some kind soul mail it to me? Thanks, Lee Fyock laf@mitre.org

Version 4.0.2 is the latest version of THINK C. Version 4.0.4 is a developer's version which is only intended for use under System 7.0. It doesn't enable THINK C to work with VM or under 32 bit mode, but it and the THINK C Debugger will both work when these options are turned off. If you are a developer using System 7.0b4, then you can get the patch for THINK C off of the "SuperBeta" CD-ROM (in "Development Tools:Symantec"). Currently, that is the only way that this patch is being distributed. -phil
