[comp.sys.mac.programmer] MacsBug 6.2b1 sees ALL apps' heaps as corrupt!

I was working on an app in MPW C and then in THINK C and whenever I checked
(hc) the heap in MacsBug I kept getting "zone bad". Fair enough, but
I started getting "zone bad" in THINK itself, even after a reboot. Then
I checked, and even after a reboot, any other app besides the Finder
gives me "zone bad" on a heap check, even if it's the first (after Finder)
launched.

What could possibly be wrong? Not every app can be hosing memory. I've
got MacsBug 6.2b1, running System 6.0.5, MF 6.1b9, a Mac II, with these
INIT's: Jasmine, Virtual, SFScrollInit, GateKeeper, GateKeeper Aid, Shield,
Programmer's Key, 32 bit QD, and Moire 3.02.

I'm really at a loss.

Any help much appreciated! (It's hard to tell if your app is corrupting
the heap if everything seems to! :->).

Robert
