I'm sure I'm not the first one to complain about this, but here goes: I am still encountering persons who just purchased Think C, who have the ANSI libraries dated 1988. Of course these had crippling bugs. Why can't Symantec send a 15-cent postcard to all Think C users with registered serial number < xxxxxx, warning them about this and telling them how to upgrade? I'm sure it would cut down on the problems new Think C users have. I can't see how Symantec can justify not alerting users to known bugs. Not everyone "hears about" these things, and not everyone is confident enough to suspect a bug when their program blows up... -Ralph Gonzalez (rgonzal@chowder.rutgers.edu)
