Subject: Kernal routines
Article-I.D.: sytek.339
In-Reply-To: Article inuxd.393
Does anyone know of a better source than the Programmers Reference Manual
for descriptions of the Kernal routines? Specifically, which memory
locations are used to store the information maintained by these routines?
I can't believe this info isn't listed somewhere.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
All the memory locations used by the Kernal are fully documented in
the Programmer's Reference Manual memory maps. You should note,
though, that the whole point of the Kernal is that it eliminates the
need to use machine-specific references to operating system variables,
thus easing program transportability among Commodore systems.
