[comp.sys.mac.programmer] Multi-platform tools

What tools exist for cross-developing, particularly Macintosh and
Windows 3?

I am aware that Omnis 5 has a high degree of compatability but
runtime restrictions may rule it out.

Are there any other development environments which would provide
direct code compatability in both environments, preferably with a
database engine included?

Please mail replies & I'll summarise.

Thanks in advance

I find that I can spot a program that has been ported from Windows to a Mac
using a cross-developer a mile off: bad interface, violations of Apple's HUI
guidelines, etc. If you need to use such an animal good luck.

BTW, SmallTalk V[/] provides some utility in that area I'm told.
