[comp.sys.mac.programmer] MacsBug Help

cro@cs.arizona.edu (Charles R. Oldham) (07/13/90)

Can anyone direct me to some on-line documentation for MacsBug? It came with
Think Pascal 2.01, but the docs there are woefully inadequate for my needs.
Any help would be appreciated, please E-Mail to me.

I am having difficulties getting symbols to display in MacsBug 6.1. I
have seen instances of code with symbols XDEF for the debugger. How
do I or can I get the .MAP file symbols to display with their ASCII strings
instead of HEX. SX tells that symbols are enabled and RN tells me that
my resource file reference number is set whether I give an expression
parameter. Heap dumping doesn't give me any indication that a Map file
was ever loaded. Any help greatly appreciated. E-mail me direct and if
there is adequate interest I'll sumarize. Thanks
