[comp.sys.mac.programmer] Odd addresses

jeremyr@cs.qmw.ac.uk (Jeremy Roussak) (04/13/91)

Is there any way to catch odd-aligned word and longword addressing on
a 68030? I have an SE/30 and have written some stuff which works fine
for me. However, friends (without programming ability) to whose Macs I
have no access, tell me that it crashes on their Pluses and SEs.

Advice, please!

I have an old Plus in my office, for just that purpose. (It's surplus from
one of our computer labs; people will wait in line for the hard-drive SE's
rather than use the Pluses, so it wasn't hard to borrow one.) I don't
think there's a subsititute for the Real Thing.
