[comp.sys.mac.programmer] Disabling Style Dialog Items?

ericc@d.cs.okstate.edu (Eric Cloninger) (04/25/91)

I need to disable the special effects in the Page Setup dialog for some time
until I can re-work our printing code.

I can hear your objections already, I shouldn't do this, but the code
supports only "normal" printing at the moment (i.e. portrait, no rotation,
inverting, flipping or scaling) . You might say "I should disable the Page
Setup... menu item entirely", but that is equally unacceptable since the
client wants it there ('nuff said).

As another thought, can I manage to ignore (read overwrite) these values
in the structures and replace them with my own values?

I'm really at wits end here. I've searched the TN stack, SpInside Mac,
Q & A stack, etc. The Print Job dialog is "reasonably" well documented,
but I can't find any info on the Style dialog other than "it exists and
this is how you call it".

Thanks, (in advance)
