[comp.sys.mac.programmer] Menu Mgr. 'DelMenuItem' not working properly???

Hi,

    Menu Mgr. call 'DelMenuItem' is not working properly.  I created
    a popup menu having 14 items and set the current selection to
    be 14.  I call 'PopUpMenuSelect', select item 2, and loop from
    selection+1 (3) to 14 calling 'DelMenuItem'.  When I mouseDown on 
    the popup menu it contains the menu list 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 
    and 14; just the odd ones were removed!!

    I went as far as initially creating the menu, inserting just before 
    PopUp call, and deleting right after PopUp call (suggested in IM-V).  
    Still, it leaves the even numbered menu item intact. 

    Any suggestions?
