From: Eric <LAVITSKY@RU-BLUE.ARPA>

Hi,

Has anyone heard anything about memory/processor expansion for the
C64. I recall reading a rumour that Richvale Telecommunications was
going to make a 68000 board with 512K memory for the C64 - is there
any new news on this? Has anybody heard rumours that Commodore was
planning memory expansion? How about the new 128K board Mosaic was
advertising in the December Compute! magazine?...

Hungry for expansion and power!!
Eric

Yes there is (will be) an add on 68000 for the Commodore-64. A company called
Digital Accoustics in Calif has a series of 68000 add-on boards for a couple
of different computers.

	Pets
	Apples (the most/best supported)

They are going to be coming out with an interface to there best board for the
C-64. This board is called the DTACK-Grande. It has up to a 1/2 meg on board
and with a piggy-back board can go to a 'full-gallon' (1 meg). This board
runs at 12.5 mhz with 1 wait state. I have one of these on an Apple IIe
(that is the MAIN reason I got the APPLE). and I am VERY pleased with the boardand its quality...
