The first is the official meaning, but I far prefer the second. 1. IMHO stands for 'In My Humble Opinion' 2. IMHO is the name of a networld deity. When making a particularly outrageous assertion, net posters will often invoke the name of the deity in hopes of gaining divine protection from the flames.
