This will be the last posting on the Netter's Dinner. I just got off the phone with the manager of Gordon Biersch. It turns out that the Apple group that the person (not the manager) I spoke with Thursday told me had already reserved the place WAS US! So we're back on for Tuesday night at 8PM at Gordon Biersch! We've got the entire outside patio. Even if it's cool, not to worry, they have heaters out there. Also note that there is no $35 charge. They do put together a special menu for large groups (to guarantee that they can produce 30 orders of something) and it contains a variety of items. In fact, when I mentioned that we were a very diverse group with some people on expense accounts and others not so lucky, he said he'd make sure there were items across the price range for us. The only gotcha is that it's one check. I'll pay it, but I expect to be reimbursed so if you can have cash or checks with you I'd be very grateful! The plan is to still meet at about 7:30 at the main enterance of the convention center. This will pick up anyone who doesn't get this message. Then we can walk the couple of blocks to Gordon Biersch. If the convention center meeting place isn't convenient for you, you are welcome to meet us at Gordon Biersch by 8:00. Of course, if there are too many people it's first come first served. Since there as some who have already left for the conference, I'll also post some bills around the center to let people know the revised plans.
