The best answer I got was to download "Default CDEF" from
rascal.ics.utexas.edu. it solved my problem.  Some other people
suggested I draw in the dialog box, but this works without having to
deal with drawing.  All you do is put "@" after the button name and it
shows up outlined.  Thanks to the author of the CDEF.  And thanks to
all who responded.
