[ Yes Virginia, There really is a Line Eat- *CHOMP* ] I am writing a CDEV screen saver (isn't everyone these days) and have run into a small problem. How do you make the MenuBar go away totally? I have defined the window to have the rect Screenbits.bounds but the Menubar insists on drawing itself on top of it. I have nose through InsideMac but can't find any reference to removing the menubar (or hiding it) at all. I know I am missing something, it can't be that hard. Any help? -Andy -- Andy J. I've just downloaded turbomenus from somewhere (I canna remember!) and it's realy neat. For those of you who have no idea what I talking about, I brings up a pop-up menu when you hold down the mouse button with Command-Shift pressed. The pop-up contains the menubar. This is what Sun Windows uses isn't it (big guess) ? Anyway, what I'd like is an INIT (extension :-)) that will hide the menubar so that I get more screen space (worth it on the SE!) and can use these pop-up menus instead. BTW I'm using sys 7. and would the hiding of the menubar then disable these pop-ups ?
