I have problems downloading from a Unix system to my Mac. I say xmodem sa filename, for example, use recv in SmartCom on the Mac and it repeatedly hangs after the 16th block. Most of the time this works fine, but once it gets into this stuck mode, relogging in, restarting, and rebooting don't help. Different xmodem modes hang also. xmodem.log says timeouts, etc. Turning the Mac off for a second doesn't fix it but waiting a minute or more seems to! I've tried many things, including running without MultiFinder, changing the app mem size, quitting other apps, and calling numerous customer support numbers. I can't find anything which gets it into this state either. Anybody had this problem? Any ideas? Any reason to believe removing inits would help? Thanks.
