[comp.sys.mac.programmer] MacTCP server daemon in a mac

jyp@wucs1.wustl.edu (Jerome Yvon Plun) (05/24/91)

I currently have MacTCP 1.0.1 installed on a IIfx with an ethernet board.
I would like to know what is the best way to install the equivalent of a
Unix daemon that would recognize a connection request from another machine
on the net and initiate some processing on the mac (VBL task, Extension,
background application...).

System 7 will be the only version of the Mac O/S used (until the next one :-).
