Playing around with ResEdit on the installer disks, I found a ppt# of resource ID #0 in the Cerulean Data file on Install 2. There were some /really/ nice patterns in there that look great for desktops. The thing is, this resource hadn't been installed in my system when I upgraded... My question : why? I've installed System 7 on 7 machines now (for other reasons, not to look for this :| ), and I'm wondering if it's the fact that I chose custom installation, that I originally had something weird about my system (but all 7 of them?), or what? I installed full software for Mac II's, IIx's, and an LC. I never installed System Software For Any Mac, but I fail to see how that would change whether to install this or not.. My only other idea then is that this was for some other program? Could the TokenTalk interface be so interesting that it deserves this pattern selection? (yeah Jeff, right...) Just curious.. ..Jeff Keegan ...and if you haven't seen them yet, check them out.. It's only 2284 bytes, so I'm not fretting too much about the fact that I can't recompress the copy I've made of the resource, and the system doesn't seem to care. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Jeff Keegan | I clutch the wire fence until my fingers bleed | | jkeegan@hawk.ulowell.edu | A wound that will not heal | |----------------------------| A heart that cannot feel | | This space intentionally | Hoping that the horror will receed | | left blank | Hoping that tomorrow we'll all be freed -RUSH | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
