I need some help in transfering a file from an rcpm system up to unix. I know that if I am on the rcpm side i can invoke umodem to do the transfer but don't know how to do it when i am on the unix side. the cu command allows file diversion if you put a "~>:file" in the beginning of the file to be transferred but doesn't seem to work for me if i send the diversion signals and then a cat to the rcpm (or copy , pip, etc.). anyone out there know how to do what i want? Umodem is the preferred method because of the noise that is picked up during listings. HELP!
