[comp.sys.mac.programmer] System 7 and SuperBoomerang

wes@arco.com (Wesley Monroe) (06/04/91)

I use superboomerang that comes with the NOW utilities, and there
seems to be a problem with system. The positioning of the pop up
menu above the StdFile Dialog is about half way below the SB menu's,
and the pop up dosen't work!

Any easy fix? Should I modify certain system resources to get the
pop up in the right place?

Thanx,

wes

"SuperBoomerang Fixer" is available for use in combination with SuperBoomerang
2.0.3 on system 7.0 since last week. It has been posted at least on CompuServe
and GEnie (I'm not sure if it's on sumex-aim.stanford.edu already).

It's an extension file to be placed IN the control panel folder, so that it
loads right after SB 2.0.3, replacing some part of INIT codes. It makes
SB 2.0.3 system 7 "friendly", including a fix to the infamous cosmetic problem
on the file-open dialog.

It does not make a sys7-savvy version, however. I hear rumors saying that
SB 3.0 is under development. Don't know when exactly it would come out.
