This article originates from the usenet and was posted to the usenet news group net.micro. If you are on the ARPA net you are reading this article due to the fact that it was forwarded to the ARPA group INFO-MICRO. All net.micro articles are posted to INFO-MICRO (by some mysterious force) and all INFO-MICRO articles are forwarded to net.micro (by some equally mysterious force). On the usenet, net.micro is broken up into several subgroups, net.micro.cpm, net.micro.pc, net.micro.cbm, net.micro.68000, net.micro.6809 etc. All of these groups reach INFO-MICRO. If you read INFO-MICRO you get all the usenet stuff. I think the reverse is also true; INFO-PC, INFO-CPM and other micro-related groups are forwarded to the usenet. If you read an article on the ARPA net, you can send mail to the usenet originator of the article. Unfortunately, the reverse is not true. It is almost impossible to get mail from the usenet to the ARPA net because the DoD has decided that ARPA access must be controlled. So don't count on a reply to your letter to the usenet. I hope this explains a few things that were not clear. -- Kurt Guntheroth John Fluke Mfg. Co., Inc. {uw-beaver,decvax!microsof,ucbvax!lbl-csam,allegra,ssc-vax}!fluke!kurt
