[comp.sys.mac.programmer] Developer information update on System 7 compatibility checker

blob@Apple.COM (Brian Bechtel) (06/21/91)

The Compatability Checker (the Hypercard stack that tells users what
applications on their hard drives are incompatable with 7.0) is being
updated. The next version will be sent out sometime in July, so if you
know of any developers who want to change the information about their
products in the CC, tell them to send their requests to the AppleLink
account "CCDROPBOX" or internet "ccdropbox@applelink.apple.com".

This is the only sheduled update, so developers need to get their
changes in now. They will be alerted on AppleLink, but they may miss
that. And, if you've ever run the checker and noticed that it's
reporting incorrect statuses for a developer's product, you may want
to contact the developer yourself and let them know that they may want
to get their information corrected.

Please don't send information, suggestions, etc. to ccdropbox unless
you are the developer of a product that needs to be listed. That only
leads to incorrect information being propagated.
