[net.micro] Operating systems in Micro's

delp%udel-eecis1.udeecis@udel-ee.arpa (01/09/84)

From: Gary Delp <delp%udel-eecis1.udeecis@udel-ee.arpa>

This is a request for information about Microprocessors which have features
making operating system implementation easy....
-the 68000 has some form of memory management,
-the Intel 432xx system has context switching, interprocess
communication scheduling, type checking,protection domains,
and much more on chip as opcodes,
-the national semiconductor's 32 bit micro 16032 has something,
-the intel xx86 series has more and more......

What I need ( or what a friend of mine who is researching this needs)
is a set of pointers to information on each of these micros, and
information about others if they exist.

Reply to me and I will summarize to the net..
Thanks so much.
