[comp.sources.games.bugs] nethack2.3 patching

I've been having a bit of a time patching the nethack2.3 hacks. I don't seem to
have the utility 'patch(1)' which REAME.2.3 suggests I should run. Can someone
send me the source code for this program or an executable which runs on a SUN
3?
