I finally got the new release to gnuchess compiled after fixing
the shar files and many syntax errors in the code. After all that
it comes up, takes my first move, asks for a second move but
doesn't respond to any input.
If someone has a clean copy that works please mail it to me.

I got the latest gnuchess from comp.sources.games, but I can't
seem to get the thing to compile. It is complaining about missing
functions (like castle(), for instance). I'm looking for anyone who
has successfully compiled and run it on ...
