We appear to have mpss working on Sun Unix, except for the following: The first time anyone plays (multi-user, not just one player) all is ok. But if you get killed by one of your friendly work-mates, are kicked out and then re-enter the game you can still play, but with all sorts of rubbish appearing on the screen. Almost everything printed appears to be prefixed or prepended by the same odd pair of characters, although the pair is different each time that you re-enter the game. Thus as anything pans or scrolls past on the starship display it leaves a trail of these "odd characters". As I said, you can still play, but it is most annoying. The fault would appear to be associated with cursor positioning.
