I have compiled space war with no problems. The problem comes when trying to install and run the program. I installed the program according to the README. No it goes and prompts me for my name. When I type a character I get an error in the "swerr" file saying "uio_lgn out of range: Inappropriate ioctl for device" Can someone help me here? I looked at the code an can't figure why this error is happening. I am on a BSD4.3 system. _Q /_\ _______________________O|/O_________________________________ David Doughty, Gould Computer Systems Division UUCP : sdcsvax!ncr-sd!rb-dc1!ddoughty USmail: 15378 Avenue of Science, San Diego CA 92128-3407 USA ------------------------------------------------------------

The moderator sent me a copy of Module 2. Apparently the garbling was an isolated incident (somewhere along the way). The moderator said that the only two cases he heard about were from HP. Is that where you get your newsfeeds from or is this a bigger problem than we originally thought?

Could someone please send me a copy of Module 1. I too was a victim of the spacewar module eating monster. Thanks. sun!sunbird!gemed!ralston

I recently got a copy of spacewar, that is available from netlib@uunet. Unfortunately, I won't run on my Sun (3 or 4). When running psw, it says: One moment while the game cranks up. Killed. And that's it. Does anyone know what's going on ?
