I am reporting a bug in the recently posted Tetris version 1.3. It seems that the high score file gets juked (juked: jewk-ed; screw up, screw over) when the user's name is eight characters long. The high score table is kept in "tetris.h" and is a 15 by 8 character array. I suggest that Tetris addicts go into the file and make the array 15 by 15. It now seems to work fine. TETRIS NOTES: * I have found a coin-operated video game of Tetris. Atari put it out last year. It's not too bad --- if you can find it. * Tetris on our Unix(tm) system has been dubbed "The Game From Hell" due to its addictiveness. I was in the lab once from 7:00 to 10:00 PM, and all I did was play that damn game! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jeff Ferguson | jeff@uop.edu Computer Science Department | uop!jeff@ucdavis.edu University of the Pacific | cogent!uop!jeff@pacbell.com Stockton, California, USA | 95211 /^^^\ | "Get me out of this cage!" -- Rael (209) 944-7105 { o_o } | .--------------------------. \ o / ----> ( "KJEF does it with class!" ) ---------------------mm---mm-------'--------------------------'---------------

I play it all the time on my PC, and I would like to play it on break at my desk ;-) Any information you have would be nice. Thanks Eddie
