[net.micro] Pointers to HP 150 software wanted

govern@houxf.UUCP (W.STEWART) (01/14/84)

(white space)
My department now has several HP150 micros, which we bought primarily
as terminals, but also as standalone machines for word processing.
There is a small amount of software available for them from HP
(Wordstar, Visicalc, graphics, BASIC), but they run MS-DOS, so there
should be a lot of software available from other sources.

Do you-all have any recommendations for good packages? In particular, I
am looking for:
	A good editor
C language and maybe Pascal or Fortran.

What I'd really like in an editor is something that looks like vi, so
the users don't have to learn too many editors, but that runs locally
without much assistance from my VAX.

*VAX, Wordstar, Visicalc, MS-DOS are probably all trademarks
