[comp.sources.games.bugs] Cursor problem in Nethack 3.0

  I've been trying to run Nethack 3.0 on an Apollo DN3000 workstation.
The game compiles, but when I try to run it, the dungeon and status
line are all appended together on one line - there is no cursor
movement at all.  What can I do to fix this problem?  I've tried
using all the different libraries (-ltermcap, -lterminfo, ...), 
using different terminals, and defining/undefining TERMINFO, 
but nothing helps.  Any advice or hints would be greatly appreciated.
