I have successfully compiled NetHack 3.0 with -NO- problems. After installing it, I cd to the auxil directory and type: sh nethack.sh After a moment or two, nethack exits with the message: "terminal does not backspace" I am running kermit on a pc terminal with the environment set to vt100. I have also tried vt52 mode. Same thing. I have tried compiling with the Makefile in src TERMLIB variable set to "-ltermlib" and "-ltermcap" and "-lcurses". All have had the same effect. I am running on a Arix computer with Sysunix specified as the SYSTEM. Well guys, whats wrong?
