Mark - The June 1983 issue of TRS-80 Microcomputer News, published by
Tandy, contains what appears to be a thorough article on the use of the
RS-232 interface of the Model II. I do not have a Model II, and I have
only read the article casually, but if you give me a mailing address I'll send
you a copy, and you can decide for yourself on the usefulness of the article.

I've been trying to get a Mod II to use a Praxis printer through the
serial interface, and am having difficulty getting the handshaking
correct. The computer keeps saying "Printer not ready", and I have
been unable to determine which of the lines it is waiting for. I have
played with pins 5, 8, and 20 without any luck. Any help on this would
be greatly appreciated.
