I used to get the odd request for nethack and elm, so what I started doing was maintaining a fully patched version that anyone could pick up. Then whenever anyone posts a request for the patched version I can point them to the one I've already got ready. I assume that other people have done something similar, perhaps when they see postings like this they can announce where they've got it. On this machine I keep a copy of elm and nethack up to date and another postgrad keeps a few Voyager II images about. If anyone wants them they are available to JANET users.
