I would like to mention that when I interfaced GB I used the TinyMUD interface, which was written in ANSI. It worked fine on my NeXT, and didn't think anything of it (hey, I'm a physicist, not a computer guy :). At any rate, there are still version of the code out there giving people problems. I have posted the latest server to scam.berkeley.edu (tmp/GB) and acf8.nyu.edu (v.2.1.11) which has many of these bugs worked out. It seems that alot of problems with the code are related to 'log1p(x)' which is log(1+x) as well as differences in the timing mechanisms (i.e. tm_ structures etc). I urge people to keep up with the latest postings at these ftp sites (as I usually post at least weekely). Some people, especially those overseas, can't access u.s. sites. I intend on posting the latest version on comp.sources.games in the next few weeks. BTW, i think we need to make the alt group 'alt.games.gb'. I am going to try to get rec.games.gb set up soon (and yes,m we do have over 100 people interested, just look at my mail file :) -Garrett
