I have a copy of the executable of the Vms game called Galatic Trader. It don't work too hot, there are alleged contact address that i have been trying for over a month to contact and no luck. Does the source exist on the net, do the people still exist, is there someplace I can the bloody stuff from. Is there a better game that is like it? -Michael

Folks have it running here (not at my address - that's a unix machine) on a Vax 8810 running VMS 5.3. Do you have the GAL.COM file that goes along with it? I doubt it would run without it, in fact I'm sure of it, for if you don't assign GAL_DIR and a few other pointers, the game will not work. I have had it running on our VAXes, running VMS 5.2 and it works fine, never had a problem with it. If you'd like, I can send you all the Gal- Trader files that I have, that should get it working.
