[comp.sources.games.bugs] Look for Zork - Dungeon Sources

dennis@nebulus.ampr.org (Dennis S. Breckenridge) (04/06/91)

I have been looking for the ported Unix version of zork
or dungeon. A few years ago someone sent me a start of
the port in "c" with file names like Overlay1-21. I did
not get the database with this package. I have the original
fortran PDP-11 source c/w database but the two are incompatible.
Short of re-writing all of this code I would like to find
the database for this package - or - a ported version of
the game c/w database.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Greetings,
Ahah! Another person looking for the sources to
the Dungeon program! If any can point me to them as
well, I'd appreciate it! (I'm even willing to play
with MDL source, if you can find it for me! In fact,
I'd *PREFER* the original, since I want to have GDT
available to me, and I *ALWAYS* like the original
author's comments!) Note that I have always been
informed that the original was in MDL, or that the
version I was playing had been in MDL. If this is
wrong info, FEEL FREE TO CORRECT ME!

Me: It's a programming tool, trust me.
