wilson@ji.Berkeley.EDU (James E. Wilson) (06/08/89)
A Macintosh version of Moria is now available via anonymous ftp from the host ucbarpa.Berkeley.EDU. Moria is in the directory pub/wilson. I can not leave the file there permanently, so it will be deleted in a week or so. This Macintosh port is by Curtis McCauley. Please send comments/bug reports/sugestions to wilson@ernie.Berkeley.EDU and/or mccauley@cup.portal.com. If no serious problems turn up, then I will send a copy to all of the usual places for distribution (i.e. info-mac, comp.binaries.mac, BMUG, etc., etc.). A brief history... Moria is a single player dungeon adventure game, in the style of rogue and hack. The original game was created by Robert Koeneke and others at the University of Oklahoma for VAX/VMS systems. I created, and have been maintaining, a UNIX version of Moria, usually refered to as Umoria. My Umoria sources have been ported to the IBM-PC, Atari ST, Amiga, and now there is also a Macintosh version. Send followups to rec.games.moria.
