[rec.games.moria] Moria v5.2.2 on A3000?!?

kws1x@krebs.acc.Virginia.EDU (Kenneth W. Smith Jr) (01/12/91)

	Hello, fellow Netters!
Has anyone out there gotten Moria v5.2.2 to work on the
an Amiga3000 yet? I have tried to use the executable from kukulcan
site, in both 2.0 and 1.3 and w/ and w/o the CPU's caches on, but I
have had no success with it. Could someone who has done it successfully
please e-mail me what they did to get it to run?

	Thanx in advance,

	K W Smith, Jr.

I myself am porting UMoria 5.2.2 for the Amiga 3000 UX, but I found some
difficulties which may be hard to solve; the standard A3000-compiler is
fairly good, but it sometimes manages to give an internal compiler error
due to what i think too large c-files. At this moment I'm having big pro-
blems with moria1.c. I think it's too big for the A3000-compiler; but then
again even GCC 1.37 stops at the same file. I'm working on a fix for that
problem. When I managed to port it I'll let you all know folks.

                             Until another dimension,

                                                      Remy Wetzels.
