		    CALL FOR PAPERS

Special Issue on PARALLEL COMPUTATIONAL GEOMETRY

	 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL GEOMETRY
		    AND APPLICATIONS

IJCGA is dedicating a special issue to parallel computational
geometry, in recognition of the increasing recent interest and
progress in this area. Authors should note the benefits of
publication in a special issue -- a collection of high-quality
related papers in one volume, plus a guarantee of publication
of accepted papers with minimal time delay.

The emphasis of the special issue is parallel computational geometry.
This includes deterministic or randomized parallel algorithms for
traditional computational geometry problems, as well as geometric
problems arising from applications such as computer vision, computer-aided
design, solid modeling, VLSI design, or computer graphics. It also
includes lower bounds for solving geometric problems in parallel.
The focus of this issue is not restricted to any particular parallel
model; submissions that use a synchronous PRAM model, an asynchronous
PRAM model, a network model (such as the hypercube, mesh-of-processors,
or cube-connected cycles), or even a non-standard parallel model are all
welcome.

All manuscripts will be promptly and carefully refereed. Also, IJCGA
strongly encourages electronic submission of papers in final form to
minimize typesetting time.

Authors should send five (5) copies of a manuscript to

                  Johns Hopkins University

by November 30, 1990. Authors are encouraged to submit as early
as possible.
