FORMAL POWER SERIES AND ALGEBRAIC COMBINATORICS MAY 2-4, 1991 BORDEAUX, FRANCE organized by the LaBRI First Announcement and Call for papers This is the third Workshop on Formal power series and Combinatorics and their relations with Computer Science and Mathematics. The first meeting took place in Lille (1989), the second in Paris (1990). Computer scientists and mathematicians working in these domains are invited to participate. The following topics are solicited in relation with Formal power series : - Dynamic systems, - Enumerative and algebraic combinatorics, - Formal calculus, - Partial commutations, - Symbolic computation, - Algorithms. The workshop languages will be French and English. The scientific program will consist of short contributions which will be selected from the submitted papers. All contributions will be refereed for a proceedings volume. Submitted papers should be sent to the program committee not later than November 1, 1990. The authors will be notified of acceptance for presentation to the workshop by January 15, 1991.
