SECOND ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON ALGORITHMS December 16-18, 1991 Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China. The second annual International Symposium on Algorithms will be held December 16-18, 1991 at Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. Besides five invited talks, the Symposium welcomes contributed papers. The first such symposium was held 1990 in Tokyo, Japan as "SIGAL International Symposium on Algorithms". The Proceedings was published in Lecture Notes in Computer Science by Springer-Verlag. The Symposium focuses on topics in computational complexity, data structures and algorithm design. Typical areas include (but are not limited to): Combinatorial Algorithms on Graphs, Networks and VLSI Computational Geometry and Algebra Cryptography Parallel and Distributed Algorithms Probabilistic and Approximation Algorithms Proceedings will be available at the Symposium. Authors should send TEN copies of an extended abstract before May 15, 1991 to the Program Committee Chair (for faster communication, please include your E-MAIL ADDRESS). Wen-Lian Hsu Institute of Information Science Academia Sinica Taipei, Taiwan 115 Republic of China (email: algm91@iis.sinica.edu.tw) The extended abstract (NOT A FULL PAPETR) should provide sufficient detail to allow the program committee to evaluate its validity, quality and appropriateness to the conference. Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection by July 15, 1991. Accepted papers may be considered for publication in either special issues of Int'l Journal of Foundations of Computer Science (IJFCS) or Int'l Journal of Computational Geometry & Applications (IJCGA), as the papers pertain to.
