We are trying to design a course on ``time-varying phenomena'' to be offered to Computer Science majors at the sophomore/junior level. Students are assumed to have had three semesters of calculus, but no linear algebra. We would like to hear recommendations about topics to be covered and relevant textbooks. Please reply via e-mail to thanasis@cs.columbia.edu. I shall post a summary of responses if I get enough. Thanks. Thanasis Tsantilas Department of Computer Science Columbia University
