[comp.theory] choosing a publisher

beigel-richard@CS.YALE.EDU (Richard Beigel) (02/28/91)

Bob Floyd and I are near the point of choosing a publisher for an
undergraduate-level automata theory textbook we are writing. If you
have published a textbook, I would appreciate if you can tell me about
your experience with the publisher -- satisfactory or not, any level
of detail you feel comfortable with. We are particularly interested
in experiences with Benjamin Cummings, Addison-Wesley, D.C. Heath,
Jones & Bartlett, McGraw Hill, Prentice Hall, W.H. Freeman, Computer
Science Press, and Oxford University Press. Thank you.
