           LATIN'92 Latin American Theoretical INformatics

LATIN'92 is being launched as an International Symposium in
Theoretical Computer Science to be organized and held in a Latin
American context. The main objective of LATIN'92 is to promote high
quality Theoretical Computer Science research in Latin America.
Further Symposia held in different Latin American countries are
expected.

The first event is being sponsored by the Instituto de Matematica e
Estatistica da Universidade de Sao Paulo, in cooperation with
ACM/SIGACT, EATCS, IFIP SGFCS, IEEE TCMFC, CLEI, SBC and SCCC.

LATIN'92 will take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, April 6 to 10, 1992.
It will consist of approximately 10 invited lectures and of
contributed papers. The program will be selected by an international
Program Committee. The Symposium Proceedings will appear before the
event and will be published in the Springer-Verlag Lecture Notes in
Computer Science series. The Symposium will be centered around the
areas of Automata, Algorithms, Complexity, and Combinatorial Aspects
of Computer Science. The Symposium language is English.
