A Two Year Postdoctoral Position Available CMU has an active program in Parallel Algorithms and Architecture. HT Kung and Gary Miller are looking for a person to fill a two year postdoctoral position in the general area. The goal is to find an individual with a strong background in the theory of parallel computation plus some background and interest in applications. In particular, The applicant should have an interest in implementing new algorithms, especially in an applications context. The duties will include running a seminar in the area and an effort on his/her part to interact with the several groups at CMU in the area. This position should enable the candidate a chance to carry his/her ideas through to implementation as well as time to find new ideas and sharpen older ones. Position subject to funding.
