The Marriott is now full. They closed off reservations after the deadline of April 5, like they said they would do. If someone currently holding a reservation doesn't need it, it can be used for another STOC person, BUT ONLY IF THE RESERVATION IS EXPLICITLY TRANSFERRED TO THAT OTHER PERSON. Otherwise, freed-up reservations will be used for ordinary tourists. So if you don't need a room, I encourage you to find someone who does and transfer the reservation. The Marriott has alternate hotels to try to get rooms at, if needed. And Cris will have more info soon. (There's actually good news in all this, namely, that anything this hard to get hotel rooms for has got to be good!) -- Jeff
