From: Martha S. Rose <MROSE%MIT-OZ@MIT-MC.ARPA> I am soon obtaining a Compaq plus. If the experienced among you could offer suggestions on the "best" way to outfit it with extra hardware, I would appreciate it. It definitely will have a 10Mb disk and I'd like to put 2 serial and 1 game adapter ports on it and still expand the memory to its maximum of 640K. A clock/calendar, at least 1 serial port, and RAMdisk capabilities are the essential minimum. Pointers to any board combinations that will still leave one slot free (yes, only 2 free slots to start with --sigh.) for later graphics upgrading are requested. While I'm here, if anyone can point me to the archives of this list, I'd appreciate it. Please send replies to me, or cc them if posting, as I am not on the list yet. Projections of Humble Gratitude, Martha (MROSE@MIT-MC works best, or genrad!mit-eddie!mrose)

Quadboard+ - 384K ram, clock/calendar, 2 serial (or 1 serial/1parallel), Joystick (I think), and it's a very good company. ------------------------------------------------ from the vicious cycle of: >>----->>-------------( Nathan C.
