CD or not to CD? Are those of you that have CD ROM drives (specifically Apples) out there just delighted wtih the vast array of neat stuff available on CDs? Or is it just a sort of neat idea that hasn't caught on yet? Is there a list somewhere of whats available? I flipped through the adds in various Mac mags and didn't see much. How about X (including contrib) on CD, wasn't HP going to press something along these lines? Apple: Any hint as to if/when A/UX will be available on CD? apple!jrg John R. It was suggested that AUX be put on CD-ROM...is that really possible? Wouldn't it wind up being really slow? How would configuration information be updated? Just curious...it would free up a lot of hard disk space if it were CD-ROM. Lance Saleme [<This .signature left intentionally blank>]

The read/ write CDs are out now and have plenty of room. Are they just too slow? How about putting the AUX stuff that isn't used often on a CD (as was suggested in a mail message sent directly to me) like the man pages, games, least used tools?
