Hi, I would like some advice for those of you who work in the Computer Music field. I will be staring my third year at Drexel U., majoring in Electrical & Computer Engineering, concentrating on Comp. Eng. I am VERY interested in music, all aspects of it. It would seem logical to combine the two interests. So what kind of jobs are out there in the Comp. Music field? I have a 4.0 GPA, and hope to keep up there when I graduate, so I would think that I will have a fairly large number of choices for employment. How is the salary for someone with an E.E. degree? I wanted to work for Ensoniq as a co-op, but they said they had nothing open at the moment. I wound up working at AT&T Bell Labs. Although the paycheck is good, I'm really not doing what I want to. How much would I sacrifice if I didn't work for a big company on graduation, but took a comp.music job instead? I'd appreciate your thoughts/comments on the subject. Thanks, Iggy -- Iggy Sinyak iggy@mtunb.att.com Drexel U. Philadelphia, PA
