I need some information from people who have real hands on experience or personal knowledge from a friend about: database programs for the CP/M-86 OS. We have an IBM PC with a 5M removable hard disk and a Columbia with a 10M hard disk. The data is not complex, but it has been calculated that there may be as much as 5 Megs when all the experiments are done. Can something like dBaseII handle that? Is there a package that can? We are also looking for flexibility, mainly in regards to adding variables to the data base. Searches probably will not be too complex. Simple statistical operations are also to be performed, maybe some kind of tables etc. I'd be interested in any suggestions or ideas. Thanks.
