Deke Kassabian, I tried to mail you, but my mailer couldn't find you at apollo. Anyway, I thought this might be of general interest to users of CSound-NeXT. The problem is that playing a CSound-generated soundfile may result in no sound and an alert panel. Although the NeXT soundfile supports a wide range of data formats, not all of these can be played through the D/A. Hit CSound's "Info" button. A panel will pop up displaying information about the soundfile you're trying to play. Off the top of my head, the sampling rate must be 44100, 22050 (16-bit linear) or 8012 (8-bit), no more than two audio channels. - Pete Peter M.
